Our Background
Avena Fields is the founder of Expressions of Heaven. Avena Fields has taken acting classes, actor’s workshop and drama under the direction of Chuck Ervin at Fresno City College. Ms. Fields has also facilitated poetry and creative writing classes for Aphesis Kidz Club summer recreation and W.O.J.C.C. inc. in Fresno CA. Ms. Fields has studied courses at both Fresno City College and National University in English Literature and Creative Writing.
Ms. Fields has over twelve years of work experience in non-profit organizations serving in positions including program coordinator, youth leader, activities director, drama instructor and youth teacher. Avena also has hands on training in business management from owning her own business and ten years of working in the business management field.
Avena Fields has been writing and performing since she was a child she has written and directed several stage plays and performed throughout the community of Fresno. She currently is the program coordinator for after school performing arts programs in the Fresno area.
