Tate Hill II, Chief Strategist/Owner

Tate Hill is a longtime West Fresno resident, parishioner & stakeholder who understands the culture, challenges and the character of the community. In the past five years, he has participated in over 50 town hall meetings, community meetings and workshops addressing housing, land use, education and business development in south Fresno. In recent years, Tate has been directly involved in housing & land use policy in southwest Fresno as member of both the Edison Merger/Southwest Fresno and the District Three Implementation Committee along with his participation the California Avenue Master Plan project. In his capacity as Vice President at Fresno West Coalition for Economic Development and Youth Leadership Institute, he coordinated marketing and communications resulting in a 90% media response rate for organizational activities. These efforts have allowed Tate to cultivate relationships in a number of mainstream and ethnic media mediums—radio, television, print, and web. He currently publishes In the Black--an online newsletter, Urban Knowledge Blog and co-host Valley Black Talk on KCFC 88.1 FM.
